The most common mistakes of new players

Last updated: Based on Lineage 2 Interlude

The most common beginner mistakes in Lineage 2 Interlude are selling everything for quick Adena, hunting at the wrong level, enchanting too early, copying builds blindly and trusting strangers with trades or account details. Avoiding these saves hours of play.

Mistakes and fixes

  • Hunting far above or below your level: pick monsters close to your level.
  • Ignoring skills: new skills need SP and often a spellbook, so check every few levels.
  • Enchanting before you understand the risk: failed enchants can destroy an item. Read Enchanting in Interlude: rules, risk, scrolls.
  • Trusting strangers: never share your password; be careful with unsafe trades.
  • Playing completely alone: parties and clans are a big part of the game.
  • Not reading server rules: a rule you did not read is still enforced.

Good habits

Ask in public chat politely, read the glossary when you meet a new term, and take it slowly. The game rewards patience.
