To start in Lineage 2 Interlude, get a working client, create an account on your chosen server, make a character, and follow the starting-area quests while you learn the interface. Spend the first levels reading skill descriptions, not rushing, and keep your Adena.
Step by step
- Get the client and connect (see the connection guide: How to download the client and connect to a server).
- Create an account on the server you chose, then log in.
- Create a character: race, then Fighter or Mystic, then appearance and name.
- Open your inventory, skills, quest log and map in the first minutes so that you know where things are.
- Follow the NPC quests in the starting area; they give early experience and gear.
- Join a party or ask general chat for help when you are stuck.
First-hour habits
- Read what each skill does before using it.
- Keep a few consumables (soulshots or spiritshots if your class uses them) instead of selling everything.
- Do not trade your account details with anyone.
- Learn the shortcut bar: it makes fights much faster.
