In Lineage 2, e-sport means organized PvP: duels, party-versus-party tournaments, Olympiad matches and clan wars, played under agreed rules. The ingredients are the same everywhere: clear rules, fair play, defined team roles and a way to record results.
Common formats
- Duels and 1v1 tournaments.
- Party versus party (for example 5v5, 6v6 or 9v9 depending on the organizer).
- Clan versus clan events and sieges.
What makes a tournament work
- Written rules that everyone can read before the event.
- Class, level and gear limits to keep it fair.
- A neutral person to judge rule disputes.
- Results published afterwards.
