Old Lineage 2 clients can misbehave on modern Windows. The most common fixes are running the game as administrator, enabling compatibility mode for an older Windows version, checking the display resolution in the client settings and making sure your drivers are current.
Crash or no start
- Run the game launcher as administrator.
- Try compatibility mode for an older Windows version.
- Make sure the game folder is not in a protected location.
- Check that antivirus did not quarantine files.
Wrong resolution or black screen
- Change the resolution in the client options.
- Try windowed mode.
- Update graphics drivers.
