A farming spot is a hunting area where you kill monsters for experience, Adena, SP and drops. The best spot for your level is one where monsters are close to your level, you can survive comfortably and the route back to town is safe. Names and ranges below are general.
How to choose
- Pick monsters close to your level: both much higher and much lower give a poor result.
- Check whether the area is better solo or in a party.
- Consider drops: some areas are useful for specific items or spellbooks.
- Check how crowded it is. Popular spots can be contested.
Where beginners start
Every race begins near its own starting village (for example Talking Island for Humans). Early levels are usually spent around the starting area and the nearby regions, then players move toward larger hunting grounds as their level grows.
