Equipment in Lineage 2 Interlude is split into grades: No-grade (NG), D, C, B, A and S. Higher grades give stronger stats and require a higher character level. Using gear of a grade too high for you causes penalties, so match your equipment to your level.

Why it matters
- Gear of your grade gives the best balance of stats and no penalty.
- Crystals, crafting materials and enchant scrolls are tied to a grade.
